Picartso was created by a mom who wanted to preserve her child’s growing collection of school artwork – priceless keepsakes impossible to throw away, yet impossible to store.

At Picartso, we turn your little one’s creations into a unique Artbook. Artwork of any size, any shape and medium (even 3D and pottery pieces) – we’ll help you treasure their masterpieces forever.

FAQs

How does it work?
  1. Select one of our products and place your order.
  2. Pick your child’s best art pieces based on your order and place them in a box or art folder bigger than the art pieces.
    Make sure your package is clearly labelled with your contact and order/item number.

    Please note:
    Use clips to keep pieces together.
    Do not use elastic/rubber bands.
    Do not roll or fold your artwork.
    Cover/wrap glitter artwork separately to preserve and prevent the glitter from spreading to other pieces.
    Wrap delicate/fragile pieces to avoid breakage.
  3. Drop these off no later than a month of placing your order (in person, by courier or by Uber package) at our office: 37 Bath Ave, Rosebank, Johannesburg.
  4. We will work our magic (professionally photograph, edit and layout your artwork).
    You will be asked to check and sign-off the artwork before it goes to print. Your Artbook will be delivered straight to your door once printed.
  5. The whole process takes 4–6 weeks.
  • A4/A3 landscape, glossy hardcover, coffee table-style book
  • A unique cover with your child’s artwork and their name as the title
  • 30-100 pages of professionally photographed and edited art pieces
  • A special dedication on the first page (optional)

Your book will take 4–6 weeks once artwork has been received.
Kindly note that during promotions or high order periods, your order may take an additional week or two to arrive.

You can send up to 10 extra pieces above the book size ordered, i.e

  • 40 pieces for a 30-page Artbook
  • 70 pieces for a 60-page Artbook
  • 110 pieces for a 100-page Artbook

Note, some pages will have more than one piece depending on the number of artpieces supplied.

You can print multiple Artbooks depending on your art pieces (e.g. one per term or one
per grade). We also recommend printing one Artbook per child so we don’t mix their art pieces.

Should you have more than 110 pieces, or wish to bundle all your preschool artwork in one book,
kindly email us on info@picartso.co.za 

Choose to recycle it (we’ll do this for you) and clear up space in your home. We recommend ordering
digital artwork along with your Artbook, in the event you misplace or damage your Artbook in the future.

Choose to have your art pieces returned to you (we’ll send these back in a Picartso box for easier storage).

Certainly. Simply select the Digital Artwork option on our products page and we will send your images as a digital link.
Don’t forget to indicate if you’d like us to recycle your original artwork or return it back to you.

Kindly note, we keep digital links live for one month post delivery. After which, your artwork will be deleted from our server.

Unless digitised by us, we do not recommend this. We will therefore assess the digital images sent, however, we reserve the right to reject images photographed elsewhere.

Yes, please write your message on the Artbook order page and we will include your special dedication in the beginning of the Artbook.

We do not recommend this as it limits the creative flow of the book. We need to be able to move pieces
around to showcase your child’s creativity in the best possible way. Kindly note some pages may have
more than one piece on them depending on the number of artwork supplied.

Cancellations may only take place 2 days after receiving your order. Note, an admin charge of R250 will be charged. Send us an email to info@picartso.co.za and quote your order number.

Cancellations after this time frame and after receiving your artwork will not be accepted. Your order can, however, be placed on hold until you’re ready to proceed.

Place your desired order and select ‘redeem gift card’ at check out.

Yes, we accept artwork and deliver Artbooks nationwide.
